The Burning Mouth Syndrome Library
and Search For a Cure
The Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS) Library has been created to help BMS sufferers,
their families, and the future research it will support.
A few years ago my mother, Pat Friedlander, fought a very long and painful battle against
the debilitating effects of Burning Mouth Syndrome. The information and tools we had at our
disposal during her illness were not enough to put out the fire which grew worse over time. I am
convinced that better treatments and even a cure for BMS will be discovered faster by
connecting and organizing information, experience and people.
The Burning Mouth Syndrome Library is dedicated to the memory of Pat Friedlander.
