The burning sensation caused in the cheeks, tongue and lips is a sign of burning mouth syndrome. It is unclear whether you have a burning sensation in your feet too - are you referring to foot fungus? The burning mouth syndrome can be caused due to a nerve problem, dry mouth, menopause, use of tobacco, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, strong medicines, allergies to certain foods, bacterial infection in the mouth, etc. You can relieve it by taking care of a few simple things.

Stay away from foods that heat up your system. Avoid oily, spicy, refined and processed food. Eat fresh and simple food, which is nutritious and cooling for your body.

Find out if you are allergic to certain food or toothpaste and avoid it. Eat iron rich foods and fresh fruits and vegetables like parsley, spinach, and broccoli, etc. They help in repairing the tissue damage caused by burning mouth syndrome by producing new blood cells.

Foods that are rich in vitamin B12 also help in relieving the burning mouth as they help in maintaining the nerve cells and also develop the red blood cells. Foods rich in vitamin B12 are milk, egg yolk, poultry, and liver, etc. try and include these in your daily diet.

Keep your body well hydrated as sometimes the burning sensation could be because of a simple reason like insufficient water intake. So start your day with lots of water the first thing when you wake up. This will help to flush out the harmful toxins from your body and will also help to naturally cool it. Also see to it that you have at least 8 to 10 glasses of water throughout the day. Try and consume sugar free fresh fruit juices if you can.

If it is due to your toothpaste then stop using it. Instead try brushing with baking soda or use a herbal toothpaste which is free of chemicals. You can also try chewing sugar free chewing gum, as it is known to relieve the burning sensation. You can get temporary relief by sucking on an ice cube. The cold temperature will sooth the burning and the water will keep your mouth hydrated thus relieving the burning sensation.

Drinking a glass of cold milk with a tablespoon of honey added to it will provide relief from the burning sensation. Milk with honey helps to increase the blood flow to your tongue and also keeps your body cool. Avoid the consumption of alcohol as it increases the heat in your body and also dehydrates it making the condition worse.
