AACP GOALS
To elevate and enhance the professional
standards of diagnosis and treatment in the
field of Craniofacial Pain and Temporomandibular
Disorders (TMD); to encourage
research and further study; to recognize for
the benefit of the public those professionals
who have specialized knowledge and skills in
diagnosis and treatment; to promote and
improve professional levels of competency;
and to encourage the highest standards of
excellence for practitioners.
SYMPOSIUM OBJECTIVE
To commemorate AACPǃÙs 20th anniversary
by providing attendees with new knowledge
and clinically-relevant skills gleaned over two
decades from 600+ professional members
who are leading the TMD community.
Distinguished speakers will discuss topics
directly related to the accurate diagnosis and
effective treatment of patients with TMD and
Craniofacial Pain problems in the context of
what we did in the past, what we are currently
doing, and the procedures we already know
and anticipate will be available for our use in
the near future. Concurrent programs for
doctors and staff offer opportunities to gain
information needed to achieve excellent
patient outcomes and increase practice
productivity. Additionally, all attendees should
achieve new insights and renewed enthusiasm
for diagnosing and treating Craniofacial Pain
and TMD patients as well as opportunities to
network with more experienced clinicians to
solve complicated patient presentations that
may be encountered in the future.
